School Community Service

The II. Ferenc Rákóczi Library ensures the possibility for the pupils of the city's secondary schools to perform the compulsory school community service in the institution. Outside the center, you can perform this task in the branch libraries.

We can accept students whose schools have a cooperation agreement with the library. During the period of employment, the staff of the school and the library entrusted with this task must maintain constant contact in order to ensure that the performance is without problems and in compliance with legal requirements. Students are assisted by a designated mentor at each location.

The tasks that students can perform and do not require expertise can be: arranging books, affixing labels to book ridges, supervising exhibitions, assisting librarians in children's activities, garden work in certain locations, etc.
