Registration

Enrollment and registration can be initiated in person in our libraries or online from our website. In both cases, at the end of the process, a reader's or visitor's ticketWe hand over, which non-transferable something else.

A bdocuments required for e-registration: ID card/passport/licence, address card, proof of discounts (e.g. student card, teacher card, etc.).

In the case of a person under 18 years of age, the reader's register must be authenticated by the signature of a legal representative, guardian or janitor (guarantor).

The unique identifier of the reader's ticket barcode is required for the use of several services.

The reader enrolled in the central library or for the use of the entire network can use the services in each member library.

Registration (purchase of tickets) is free of charge.

Online registration

Online registration is an opportunity for those who are not yet members of our library and would like to start this process from home. With the help of online registration, it is possible for prospective readers to request documents through our catalogue, and it speeds up the process of enrollment, since at the first face-to-face visit it is only necessary to reconcile the previously provided data.

Using the Library's Electronic Catalogue Reader's data | II. Ferenc Rákóczi Library (Miskolc) OPAC, it is possible to fill in the required form. Since a guarantor is required for library users under the age of 18, online registration is only available for those over the age of 18.
The enrolment will be finalized by the reconciliation of data in our libraries and the delivery of a reader or visitor ticket, and the eventual fee will also have to be paid this time.

After registration, a confirmation e-mail will be sent to the given e-mail address, during which the registrants will receive a temporary barcode and password. With the help of these, it is possible to access the catalogue of our library, from where you can start the online engagement request for the documents that can be found and borrowed in the files of our libraries.

Our registered readers have the opportunity to borrow the selected documents of the library.

The rental of different types of documents is subject to the following conditions: Lending terms and conditions.

A total of 20 documents can be borrowed from the libraries of the network at the same time.

The collections of the József Lévay Museum Library and the Local History Collection, as well as the books published before 1900, cannot be borrowed.

Borrowing to another person's reader's card is only possible with a written authorization.

Our readers under the age of 14 can only borrow documents classified in the children's library according to the interest of the age group.

Engagement/reservation

Engagement:

If the document you are looking for can be found in the library's file, but the loan or other reason is not available, you can ask for its engagement. Engagement can be requested in person, by e-mail, as well as by the Electronic Catalogue through.

Reservation:

The document(s) you wish to borrow will be prepared for you by our colleagues, who can receive them at the counter of the lending service. Reservations can be requested by e-mail, as well as the Electronic Catalogue through.

Help for online engagement and booking:

Do you have a valid membership? be engaged or may be confiscated the documents contained in the catalogue.

After launching our electronic catalogue Login/Registration By clicking on the button, our readers who are members of the library can enter their library data sheet with the barcode (and password) on the reader's ticket. Default password is a four-character version of the month and day of birth (e.g. if you were born on March 1st, the password is: 0301). The default password on first login should be ?Is it data? located on the tab ?Change password? You need to enter or verify your e-mail address.

(The changed password also applies to the self-service workstations of the Central Library.) If you forgot your password, from the login page ?Forgotten password? You can request a new password for your e-mail address by using a link and entering the barcode on your reader's ticket. If you do not have the e-mail address you entered in the system, you can reset your password with the librarian in the library.

Select the book you would like to borrow from our catalogue and ?details? Make sure that the book can be found in our library (located at: II. Rákóczi Ferenc Library, Móra Ferenc Library, Pet?fi Sándor Library... ), then choose ?request for documents? button. In the next window, after entering the pick-up point, the ?Send a request? The request can be finalized with a button.

If you have access to an engaged or booked work, an email will be sent.

In case of notification by phone or mail, we ask you to pay a fee corresponding to the actual postage.

After the notification, the institution maintains the signed documents for 5 opening days, and for 3 days in the case of warehouse and AV documents. After that, the engagement will be canceled.

On-site use

The library ensures that the dedicated part of its collection as well as its paid databases can be used locally by registered visitors. (Library Rules 4.2)

Library users have full access to documents, books and periodicals placed on free shelves.

Documents stored in the warehouse are requested with the assistance of a librarian.
